Blu Boys on the Roll

As the 30th SEA Games 2019 is approaching, our Softball National Team will try to prove to the country and to the world that they are not just for local competitions but also for international.

Wants to claim and regain the respects from other top caliber countries, like the World’s (MEN) top Ranking countries #1 New Zealand followed by Canada, Japan, Australia, and Argentina according to World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) click here for the full list

Bringing home medals from different international tournaments last year, a SILVER from the 10th Asian Men’s Softball Championship held in Jakarta, Indonesia from April 23-28, 2018, and BRONZE in Makassar Open International Men and Women Softball Tournament held also in Indonesia from October 14-20, 2018 were two of the highest achievements attained by our National Team for the last 2 years. From the awards received, it is truly proven that OUR local players have lots of potentials to compete even with the World’s top teams.

These players are committed to playing and characterized with the will and mindset to undergo regular, more rigid and systematic training at par with the International standard/level of training to reach the top. If now they have made it to the finals, what more if the team be provided with the necessary enabler (now given) and support (media coverage to be exact) to keep the spirit and bring pride to the country as bearer of our flag in international softball competitions.

Now, OUR Blu Boys is set to play in the upcoming WBSC Men’s World Softball Championship this coming June 13-23, 2019 at the Czech Republic hoping to be on top 10 in the World ranking. There are 16 teams competing coming  from 5 Olympic continents: Africa, Americas, Asia, Europe, and Oceania. Click here for more details
